SB Conference Participation Grants

The SB has established grants to encourage the participation of young, emerging researchers in its annual conference. For the 2025 conference, this grant covers the conference registration fee and accommodation for the duration of the conference.

Applications must be submitted by April 15, 2026, at the latest.

Other grants offered by the SB

Research Collaboration Grants - The primary objective of these grants is to promote the development of collaborative scientific projects initiated by members of the society. They enable recipients to undertake a research stay at a laboratory other than the one where their current research activities are taking place.
There are two categories: one for doctoral and postdoctoral students, and another for faculty members and experienced researchers. One grant per category is awarded each year. The grant amount is up to €3,000.
Applications must be submitted by April 15, 2026, at the latest.

Master’s 2 Internship Grants - This grant aims to support a researcher in recruiting a student for a Master’s 2-level research internship focused on one of the Biomechanics Society’s thematic areas (grant for a maximum duration of 6 months).

The deadline for submitting applications is May 15, 2026, for funding during the 2025-26 academic year.
