Open Science Valorization

Open Science Valorization

The SB2026 organizing committee proposes an Open Science valorization to highlight contributions that incorporate open science practices (data, code, methods) in biomechanics.

Valorization

Selected contributions will benefit from:

  • an enhanced presentation format (extended oral)
  • specific visibility during the conference
  • recognition linked to the publication of the abstract in our diamond open-access journal

Eligibility

Any contribution accepted at the conference (oral communication or poster)

Application

The application file (single PDF) must include:

a short motivation letter (focused on open science practices), 2 pages max.

links to data and/or code (if available)

where applicable, a justification if the data or code cannot be shared

Evaluation

Evaluation will be based on openness, quality of documentation, reproducibility, and potential for reuse, based on a dedicated reference evaluation grid, available here.
Particular attention will be paid to voluntary efforts, not solely those driven by funding requirements.
